Swedish photographer and wood carver Daniel Wester uses carving as a form of therapy, with his sculptures expressing both the hight and lows of his life. 

Photographer Mike Karlsson Lundgren and I met up with him at his remote summer abode in the south of Sweden, to which he regularly escapes to focus on his creations.
